From what bits and pieces can be gathered from the trailer, the movie seems to be following pretty closely to Iron Man's origin story. I'm not saying I am against creative liberties, but when choices are made like Spider Man's webbing being organic instead of from wrist-mounting shooters (this detail did affect Parker in several story arcs), I have to be wary. (I am not trying to stear this thread to a Spider Man discussion. If you want to do that, start your own thread. )</p> <p>As far as Downey is concerned, he &lt;b&gt;is&lt;/b&gt; Tony Stark. Generally speaking, Stark is a womanizing drunk. Who better to portray a character like that than Robert Downey, Jr.? (For more info on Stark, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Stark">this</a> is actually a decent article.)</p> <p>As a long-time Iron Man fan, I'm really excited about the Iron Man movie.
