The lots on the border of campus are pay lots (usually $10 - $15).</p> <p>I used to have a map that showed which lots were passes only and which were pay lots but I can't find it anymore.</p> <p>I'll probably be the first one down there from our group. That's the closest "secure" deck (and by "secure" I mean you're least likely to have damage on your vehicle in that lot than others by other patrons).</p> <p>If you want a nice open area so that you can tailgate at your car, I suggest the Howey lot. This will give us enough time to eat, chill, and for Craig, Tim and I to down enough beers to last us though the game. This being homecoming, the game will probably start at 1pm. They won't announce the game time until 10 days before in order to give TV stations a chance to bid on the game. Being that we are playing Army, I doubt TV will pick this up. If they don't, the athletic department usually defaults to a 1pm kickoff.</p> <p>Anywhere out on the quad in front of the Campanile will work. For those of you that didn't know, they tore up all of the parking lots in front of Van Leer and turned them into grassy areas. As of this past weekend, they still had the areas fenced off b/c of the new sod. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, the sod will have grown in enough for them to take down the fencing and we can tail gate there as an alternative.</p> <p>That's my two cents.
