I'm curious: Just how many of you Rayders out there actually use, in any way, the tags associated with the various threads here? I would assume that most of us just glance over the latest discussions list and go from there. What are you guys' thoughts on the matter?

I'm with you certainly. Tim thinks they're good to keep. I don't think we post enough searchable info to warrant it

without a "search" function the tags NEED to stay
just because YOU don't search doesn't mean other people don't use it.

Since Tim wants either hot tags or a search feature, and everyone else on the forums hates the tags, I found a search feature and activated it. I'm taking out hot tags and redoing the layout of the front page back to the original 2 column format to make the stuff at the bottom more visible.

I also put the member list link in the "Views" section on the right side. You can only see it if you're logged in.
