Rayd Server Updates

  1. FYI... I ran a blanket yum update on the server this evening. A lot of things had fallen behind.

    I also upped our spam protection a little bit. I added an RBL server (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNSBL) to front-end qmail. Hopefully that will take some of the burden off of spamassassin and free up some resources.

    Let me know if you notice anything that isn't working anymore.

  5. Did YUM exist before Windows Update? I know in the old RedHat days it was all up2date instead of yum. Now-a-days there are like 10 different package managers. Ubuntu uses aptitude and Gentoo uses emerge. I think those 3 distros are the only ones that matter (F anyone who uses OpenSUSE... freakin' nerds)
