1. Hey everyone! As you may have heard, Joe and I are heading back east to make our annual Tour De Georgia and we would really like to catch up with you all. I was wondering if you all would want to get together for dinner Monday, January 26th or Wednesday, February 4th. Our schedule is pretty tight and those were the dinner dates we have open. We could go out to eat or meet at someone's house or...well...I can't think of other options but you know what I'm saying. Anyway we can't wait to see you all!

2. I don't think we have a problem with either date.

3. Yay, can't wait to see you guys! Either date should be fine with me!

4. We're hoping to meet up with the Rayd crew. So if you guys could figure which date works for as many of you as possible and let us know, we'd appreciate it.

5. If no one voices a problem with either date, I think it'll fall to you two to figure out which works better

But at least Tim, Artis, and Chris should respond before it comes to that.

6. I'm fine with either date. On Monday I have Jury Duty :barf: so if we do it that date, maybe meet after 6pm to give us time to drive to wherever we are meeting.

Word, it'll be good to see you guys.

I'm up for either date. Whichever works better for everyone else.

8. So far, slight preference for Wednesday, then. Decision can be made once Tim weighs in.

9. Monday the 26th is probably better for us. The 4th is David's 1st birthday, so that date is kinda more difficult for us to get together. Not saying it's impossible, but just more difficult.

If we do meet on the 4th, could we meet at someone's house, it would be easier to socialize and feed David his obligatory first birthday cupcake.

10. ...says the man that has probably not consulted with his wife yet.

11. Taylor, read closer.

I wish we had "quote" functionality on the boards.

12. does blockquote not work?

test test test

EDIT: There, that looks pretty good. Just surround the quote with

13. If you guys have plans for David's birthday we don't want to impede. I do want to meet the little guy though! I think it would be fun to meet at someone's house no matter what night we do it just because I haven't seen any of the houses you guys have! I don't want to volunteer anyone because I know how much it takes to have people over and a restaurant means no one has to do dishes! hmmmm

14. Nice, Tim. Next time I'll take a screen shot for posterity's sake.

15. I'll go ahead and volunteer our place as the location, if everyone's willing to come over to exciting L'ville. How would people feel about doing it potluck style?

16. Additionally, if no one wants to do pot luck, the other option is pizza and BYOB. There is a good pizza place in downtown Lawrenceville we could order from (though we'd have to pick up the order, they don't deliver).

Just let us know. We're cool with whatever and welcome the get-together to happen at our place.

17. We still have a TON of beer left from the Tech v. Duke football game earlier this year. So, the pizza thing sounds great.

18. PARTAY TIME!!!
:boogie: :boogie: :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:
So Tim and Val, I will leave it up to you since it's your little one's birthday...Monday, January 26th or Wednesday, February 4th?

19. Beer is good. Beer with friends is a lot better.

Pizza + Beer = Win

No questions asked.

21. And Cosmo's pizza (the place Josh mentioned) is seriously the best around. Zoe will be absolutely beside herself with excitement to see everyone.

22. We're fine with having the get-together on David's b-day (Feb. 4). The more, the merrier! Oh, and I do plan on baking cupcakes for the occasion, too.

23. ACK!!! Ok, so I just looked at the calendar and realized that we are actually leaving the night of the 4th and we wouldn't be able to spend much time with everyone if we did it then. Anyone opposed if we do it after 6 on Monday January 26th? Sorry for the confusion.

24. Scheduling fail!

That's fine with us.

25. So everyone, are we finalized for getting together on January 26th at the Hutchins house?

Posted 1 year ago #
26. Works for Anita and I.

27. We'll need to figure out how many pizzas to order so we can have them ready.

Posted 1 year ago #
28. do the math so that you order half a pie per person. some will eat more, some will eat less, but you'll be safe that way.

Posted 1 year ago #
29. So what time works best for the Hutchins'? Wanna say 6ish? 7ish?

Posted 1 year ago #
30. I get home around 4:30. Anytime after that is fine. Mel usually rolls in around 5:30 - 6.

Everyone bring about $20 for pizza. It should be between $7-9 per person.
